Joe competed as a rookie on NBC's American Ninja Warrior in 2013. He shocked everyone with the tremendous results he posted! In Regional Qualifiers (Baltimore, Maryland) he placed 6th overall. This was the fastest time by any of the outstanding crop of Baltimore rookies (his very first run was "fast-forwarded").
When Regional Finals came around, he was feeling much more confident and was able to take 2nd place, BARELY missing 1st by a mere .37 seconds!

Stage 1 of Las Vegas Finals - Joe competed with the BEST athletes in the sport on the biggest stage to date. He was able to harness his focus despite being intimidated by the people he called his role models. Not only were the competitors intimidating... but so was the course!

Stage 2 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe Moravsky was up for the challenge. He was only 1 of a handful of athletes to make it all the way to Stage 3... the stage at which no American has EVER beaten (at the time).

Stage 3 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe was able to go 2nd furthest out of EVERYONE that competed on American Ninja Warrior that season... and as a ROOKIE nonetheless! In the history of American Ninja Warrior, no rookie has EVER made it as far as Joe did during their rookie season (at the time)! Even though history had been made, unfortunately he slipped off the last of the floating boards and fell into the water.

Regional Qualifiers (St. Louis, MO) - Joe took 1st place in blowout fashion! This run really set the stage for his second season of ANW!

Regional Finals - Joe made it to the Rumbling Dice and literally BROKE the obstacle! Luckily, he was quick on his feet and saved himself. Joe took 1st place YET AGAIN by nearly 40 seconds!

Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe was considered a favorite. Coming into this new season, Joe felt more pressure because people knew who "The Weatherman" was. Despite all this new pressure on his shoulders, he was able to pull off an impressive Stage 1 run that put him through to Stage 2.

Stage 2 of the Las Vegas Finals - With 18 competitors trying to figure out this grueling stage, only 2 people finished... and JOE WAS ONE OF THOSE TWO PEOPLE! He finished with just over 1 second left on the clock. This run was one of the most intense runs from ALL of season 6.

Stage 3 of the Las Vegas Finals - The holy grail, the unbeatable stage. His short term goal, beat the dreaded floating boards... long term goal? BEAT STAGE 3. Unfortunately, the hang climb (an obstacle where previously ONLY TWO American's, Brent Steffensen and Brian Arnold, had made it to in competition) took him out. The good news is he solidified his title of "Last Ninja Standing" for the first time, beating all other ninjas on Season 6!

Regional Qualifiers (Pittsburgh, PA) - Joe decided to go at a fast but comfortable place, which landed him in 2nd place!

Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe had a great save on the Jumping Spider and then effortlessly made it through the course... earning another trip to Stage 2!

Stage 2 of the Vegas Finals - Joe managed to destroy some of the hardest obstacles, including Roulette Road. That means he would be BACK on Stage 3 for a third year in a row!

Stage 3... the course that has taken him out every year on American Ninja Warrior. Joe has incredible and unparalleled consistency in getting to Stage 3... but equally consistent at falling on Stage 3. With changes to the course this year, he was more focused than ever. Unfortunately the Ultimate Cliffhanger transfer took him out as he attempted a 180° transfer. This is the way Joe had practiced and he wasn't about to change it here on Stage 3. Lesson learned. Geoff Britten and Issac Caldiero would be the only two ninjas to beat Stage 3 and move on to the mountain. Although both ninjas would clear in time, Issac would take home $1,000,000 for climbing the fastest!

Coming back to American Ninja Warrior was different this year! Joe and his wife Stephanie had their first child Emily Moravsky! But would this hinder his performance in Season 8?
Regional Qualifiers (Philadelphia, PA) - Moravsky's 4th season of American Ninja Warrior looked promising. Joe had never fallen on ANY course other than the Las Vegas Finals Stage 3 course... and he wasn't about to make any exceptions for this year.

Regional Finals - Joe's streak had COME TO AN END! Moravsky made it to the final obstacle but gassed out on the Invisible Ladder climb to the top of the tower. The only comforting news is that the course was so difficult that NOT ONE NINJA (The first American Ninja Warrior Champion, Geoff Britten included in those ninjas) even finished the course.

Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe BARELY beat Stage 1 with just over 4 seconds left... the slowest he has ever finished the first stage in Vegas. Joe had a baby during the off season and he definitely felt the "lack of sleep" while running EVERY stage in 2016.

Stage 2 in Las Vegas had taken out MANY competitors through the years, but NEVER Joe Moravsky. BUT, on this night, Stage 2 was victorious. Joe was on pace to beat the course in time but miscalculated the new obstacle called the Wave Runner and exited "early". His finish still landed him among the top 10 in the country... something he has done every single year since he began back in 2013.

Stage 3 of the Las Vegas Finals - Arguably one of Joe's greatest runs of all time. Joe was more ready than ever. He beat obstacles old AND new, and finally put himself in the history books as one of the greats in this sport. He came up an obstacle and a half short of his first trip to Stage 4. Stage 3 got 25% harder and Joe got 20% stronger... SO CLOSE. Due to his performance, he has become the "Last Ninja Standing" for the second time... more than any other ninja at that time.

During the off season, Joe and his wife Stephanie had their second child Jacob Moravsky! In Season 8, Joe had an early exit partially "blaming" the change of lifestyle by having his first child... will this season be a repeat of Season 8?!
Joe was suppose to compete in Philadelphia for Season 10 but was rained out along with a few other remaining ninjas. They were moved to a different region instead!
Regional Qualifiers (Minneapolis, MI) - Joe was still on a high from his previous season - being the "Last Ninja Standing" for a 2nd time!

Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals - One of the biggest SHOCKS of his career happened in Las Vegas 2018. After seeing Travis Rosen break his leg on the Double Dipper just a few runners before, Joe decided to change his successful technique (from his previous season). BAD CALL. Watch the heartbreaking video below.

After an early fall in Season 10, Joe was hungry once again. He had a feeling this was the year someone would win $1,000,000. Would it be him?
Regional Qualifiers (Baltimore, MD) - Joe was back for his 7th season of American Ninja Warrior. With his eyes focused on getting back to Vegas, his first goal was to beat the City Qualifiers. Unfortunately he missed the Mega Wall for a second season in a row and missed out!
(Official footage not available on YouTube)
Regional Finals - With a brand new DIFFICULT obstacle looming in the distance, Joe was still confident he would make it through. The "Angry Birds" would turn out to be the biggest Ninja killer of all time. Placed strategically after the Salmon Ladder, this new obstacle took out every ninja that attempted it. Fortunately, Joe was fast enough to punch his ticket back to Vegas.

Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals - With fire in his eyes, Joe faced Stage 1 of the Vegas Finals for the 7th time! Watching some of the best ninjas fall here wouldn't stop him from hitting a buzzer once again.

Stage 2 of the Las Vegas Finals - Joe has more clears on Stage 2 in Vegas than ANY other ninja in the history of American Ninja Warrior. Using that stat to build his confidence, Joe was prepared to beat Stage 2.

Stage 3 of the Las Vegas Finals - After watching Drew Drechsel beat Stage 3 just moments before his run (on TV it aired in a different order), Joe already felt defeated. His training prepared him for "Joe vs the rope"... but not against another ninja. He was not mentally prepared for that... especially against one of the greatest ninjas of all time. Joe would go on to have the strongest performance of his career but a mistake would take him out on Cane Lane... just feet away from the final obstacle on Stage 3. Drew would go on and win $1,000,000 in a climb off against another GOAT ninja Daniel Gil.

COVID-19: one-of-a-kind season!
Regional Qualifiers (St. Louis, MO) - Joe is back for his 8th season of American Ninja Warrior! With changes due to the pandemic, he was isolated from his friends and family to compete this season. No matter how tough, Joe is always ready for a challenge.
In Qualifiers, Joe was focused on beating the Mega Wall for $10,000. He had failed the previous two seasons! This year he was faced with a dilemma though. His teammates were out and due to the new rules Joe was able to revive his teammates if he was able to place top two and win at the Power Tower. Guess who won the power tower and won $10,000?

In Semi-Finals, Joe pushed himself and even though his competition was fierce, Joe was able to get first place by roughly a second!

In the finals, Joe was on pace to be the fastest time of the night and place Top 8 to the Power Tower Finale, but a small error cost him not only the fastest time, but knocked him out of the competition for good.

Season 13 was almost was a normal season. ALL the athletes flew to Seattle-Tacoma for the Qualifiers.
Joe competed on the first day of competition (even though he was aired night two). He posted the 2nd fastest time and was able to climb the Mega Wall for a second time in a row and win $10,000!

In the City Finals, Joe was able to take the 2nd place spot. That set up a head to head showdown with his student, Jay "Lache" Lewis on the Power Tower in a race that will never be forgotten!

Season 14 started off great! Joe was able to finish the course AND capture his 3rd career Mega Wall, which is the most in history (at that time).

For the LA Finals, Joe decided to push himself again to try and make it back to the Power Tower like the previous season. As we all know, speed kills. Joe had enough in the tank to finish but the second to last obstacle surprised him. The bungee and bar combo for the final move ripped the bar from his hands!
In Vegas, Joe was on set to compete but was told his wife Stephanie had caught COVID. Even though Joe was vaccinated, the rules of the show required Joe to be disqualified due to close contact... EVEN THOUGH he was testing negative. VERY upsetting and disappointing. This is the FIRST TIME in his ninja career Joe was not a part of the Vegas Finals.

Season 15 was the beginning of the end of traditional Ninja Warrior. Racing was introduced and it changed everything!
First, qualifiers remained the same - see Joe's shocking run below.
For the LA Finals, we finally see head to head racing.
